ONDO GOVT CONSTITUTES COMMITTEE FOR STATE BURIAL OF PA REUBEN FASORANTI

The Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has constituted a State Burial Committee for the late Leader of Afenifere, Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti.

The late elder statesman, who passed at the age of 100, will be given a befitting State Burial in honour of his immense contributions to the development of Ondo State, Yorubaland and Nigeria.

The membership of the committee is as follows:

1. Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, CON - Chairman

2. Hon. Gbenga Fasua

3. Mr. Gbenga Atiba

4. Mrs. Kosemani Kolawole

5. Rt. Hon. Bakkita Bello

6. Hon. Idowu Otetubi

7. Erelu Modupe Martins

8. Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan

9. Mr. George Asonja, Esq

10. Mr. Muyiwa Ogunyemi

11. Hon. Stephen Abitogun

12. Mr. Adetunji Gbenga

13. Apostle Eniola Olushola - Secretary

The Committee is mandated to work closely with the Fasoranti family and the leadership of Afenifere to organise a dignified and befitting burial programme for the departed national icon.

Governor Aiyedatiwa reiterates that Pa Fasoranti deserves to be celebrated even in death for his life of service, wisdom and selfless leadership.
