ODSG Commences Distribution of Transformers to Communities Across Ondo State

In a strategic move to reduce power outages, improve electricity supply, and stimulate economic and social activities, the Ondo State Government has commenced the first phase of the distribution of electricity transformers to communities across the three senatorial districts of the State.

The transformers, which are of various capacities, including 100KVA 11KV/415V, 300KVA 11KV/415V, and 500KVA 11KV and 33KV/415V, are being distributed to beneficiary communities as part of the administration’s efforts to strengthen power infrastructure and improve access to reliable electricity.

The Honourable Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Engr. (Dr.) Johnson Alabi, made this known during the formal handover ceremony held at the Ministry’s premises in Akure, where representatives of the beneficiary communities were present.

The initiative underscores the commitment of the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to addressing critical infrastructure gaps, supporting local businesses, enhancing productivity, and creating an enabling environment for sustainable economic growth across Ondo State.
