……..Happy New Month: Lawmaker Preaches Unity, Renewed Hope
The Member representing Ileoluji/Okeigbo Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Akoni Nelson Akinsuroju, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the 66th Independence Anniversary and the new month of October.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday, the lawmaker said October 1st remains a symbol of Nigeria’s resilience, unity and collective aspiration for a greater nation.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Ileoluji/Okeigbo Constituency, I congratulate all Nigerians on our 66th Independence Anniversary. At 66, we have every reason to thank God for how far we have come as a people, and to recommit ourselves to the task of building the Nigeria of our dreams,” he said.
Hon. Akinsuroju noted that true independence must reflect in the lives of the people through quality representation, peace and development at the grassroots.
He also wished his constituents a prosperous new month, urging them to remain hopeful and steadfast.
“As we step into the month of October, I pray that this new month brings peace to our homes, progress to Ileoluji/Okeigbo, and prosperity to Ondo State and Nigeria at large. I remain committed to giving our constituency a voice that matters.”
He wished Nigerians a happy Independence Day and a happy new month.
