Her first son, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke “Serubawon”, made history as the first elected civilian governor of Osun State in the Third Republic. He remains fondly remembered as a grassroots politician who connected deeply with the people.

Her last son, Ademola Nurudeen-Jackson Adeleke, is the current Governor of Osun State. From “Dancing Senator” to a Dancing Governor, he has carried the family’s political torch into a second generation of governance in Osun as the sitting governor and the governor-elect in the just concluded Osun State governorship off cycle election.

She literally raised leaders who would govern millions.

Nnenna was also mother to Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, a billionaire businessman, philanthropist, and empire builder.

As founder of The Pacific Group, he established 3 power generating plants that contributes over 55% of Nigeria’s private power generation. He also founded Adeleke University, impacting education for generations.

And yes, he is also the father of Davido, one of Africa’s biggest music stars, taking the Adeleke name from government houses to stadiums across the world.
