Apostle Temitope Olowofoyekun Dadeowo, popularly known as Tope Liberty, Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Special Interest and Public Engagement, has charged newly appointed Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to remain loyal to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the party structure across the state.

Speaking exclusively with PalacePulse News, Tope Liberty said the appointments should be regarded as a call to service and a responsibility entrusted to the appointees by the governor, rather than merely as political positions.
He also urged them to make the continued political success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a major priority, describing the President’s re-election as “non-negotiable” from the standpoint of the party’s political mobilisation.
According to him, the appointees must understand that loyalty to the governor must go hand in hand with respect for the APC leadership structure, from the state level down to the wards.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has entrusted these responsibilities to them, and that trust must be repaid with loyalty, commitment and diligent service. They must remain loyal to the governor and also respect the party hierarchy from the state leadership down to the ward level,” he said.
Tope Liberty cautioned the new appointees against distractions, stressing that their attention should remain firmly focused on the responsibilities assigned to them by the administration.
“They must not allow themselves to be distracted. The governor has set Ondo State on a path of greatness, and everyone appointed to serve under him must concentrate on delivering results and supporting the administration’s vision,” he stated.
The SSA further called for sustained mobilisation for the APC and President Tinubu, saying the political strength demonstrated by the party in Ondo State during the 2023 presidential election should be maintained.
“The re-election of our President is non-negotiable. Ondo State has demonstrated its strength for the APC, and we must maintain that pace. We must continue to mobilise, remain united and ensure that the party remains strong from the grassroots upward,” he said.
In the 2023 presidential election, APC candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu polled 369,924 votes in Ondo State, representing approximately 67.14 per cent of the valid votes recorded in the state.
Tope Liberty therefore urged the newly appointed government officials to see their positions as an opportunity to contribute to governance, strengthen grassroots engagement and deepen the relationship between the administration, the party and the people.
He added that political appointments come with obligations and that those entrusted with public responsibilities must demonstrate discipline, loyalty and a commitment to the collective interest.
“This is a time for service, not distraction. The governor has given them an opportunity to serve, and they must justify the confidence reposed in them through loyalty, hard work and responsible engagement with the people,” Tope Liberty told PalacePulse News.
