……..Group Mobilizes Support for Tinubu, APC Ahead of 2027 Elections
The Lion of Bourdillon Waves, LBW, is currently intensifying grassroots sensitization and mobilization across Akure, the Ondo State capital, and other areas, through its members at home and in the diaspora, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The drive is aimed at deepening public awareness of government policies and consolidating support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Speaking during a strategic meeting in Akure, the Convener of LBW, Engr. Daniel Oke, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and his team, particularly the three Ondo State ministers in the Federal Cabinet, for their commitment to grassroots development, youth empowerment, and the ongoing national transformation.
He specifically acknowledged the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo; the Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Ayo Olawande; and the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Prof. Taiwo Oyedele, for their contributions to the Renewed Hope agenda.
Engr. Oke charged members to sustain engagement at the ward and unit levels, stressing that the achievements of the Renewed Hope Administration must be taken directly to the people.
“With INEC’s campaign window already open, our mandate is clear: sustain grassroots sensitization, promote the Renewed Hope agenda, and consolidate support for good governance through continuous door-to-door campaigns,” he said.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the group, Hon. Rotimi Ekundayo, urged LBW members and APC faithful to remain united and focused on delivering victory for the party in 2027.
LBW has directed its ward and unit coordinators to strengthen party structures, promote peace, and maintain consistent engagement with communities across Ondo State as political activities gather momentum nationwide.
The group added that the ongoing sensitization will prioritize voter education, the APC’s e-registration of new members and LBW membership drive, policy communication, and mass mobilization to ensure the APC’s vision resonates at the grassroots.
As part of the strategy, LBW is intensifying door-to-door mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates across the state.
