DOUBLE IMPACT: LBW Commends Interior Minister BTO Over Transformer Donation to Ward 11, Bus Gift to Club Elan Akure

The Lion of Bourdillon Waves (LBW) has commended the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO), for his twin impactful interventions in Ondo State, the donation of a transformer to Ward 11, Owode/Imuagun, Akure South and the donation of a bus to one of the foremost social clubs in the state, Club Elan Akure.

In a statement issued on behalf of the group by the National Secretary, Hon. Rotimi Ekundayo of the LBW, described the gestures as a clear demonstration of responsive, inclusive and people-centered leadership.

According to LBW, the transformer donation, facilitated by the Convener of the Akure Youths for BTO, Alhaji Saliu Adekunle, has ended months of blackout that crippled businesses and made life unbearable for residents of Ward 11, while the bus donated to Club Elan Akure among other gestures to different communities and establishments, will ease the mobility challenges and strengthen the club’s role in social cohesion and community development.

“BTO has again shown that leadership is about impact, not noise. He listens and acts, one intervention restores light to homes and businesses in Ward 11; the other empowers a respected social institution that has contributed immensely to the social fabric of Akure and Ondo State. This is what true representation looks like,” LBW stated.

The group noted that Dr. Tunji-Ojo’s interventions continue to cut across all layers of the society, from grassroots communities to organized social bodies and organizations, proving that no segment is left behind in his developmental vision.

LBW congratulated the people of Ward 11 Owode/Imuagun and the entire membership of Club Elan Akure on the donations, urging them to safeguard and make judicious use of the facilities.

The group reaffirmed its total and unflinching support for the APC, the President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Honourable Minister, thereby describing him as a worthy ambassador of Ondo State, whose good works continue to speak loudly, across the state and beyond.
