Report says the traditional ruler of Abo-Asakin in Akure North Council Area of Ondo State, Oba Adebayo Ademehinti has been remanded at the state correctional centre, Olokuta in Akure.
Positive FM gathered that the monarch, engulfed in a land dispute was arrested by the Ondo State Task Force on Anti-Land Grabbing.
His spokesman, Mr Gold Ikolo who addressed newsmen over the incident however absolved the traditional ruler describing the case as unfortunate and insisted that the monarch would be vindicated.
Oba Adetimehin is expected to be arraigned next Friday in the court.
