The Lion of Bourdillon Waves, LBW has commenced grassroots sensitization and mobilization in Akure, the Ondo State capital, in line with the INEC schedule for the commencement of the Presidential and National Assembly campaigns for the 2027 general elections.

The initiative is aimed at deepening public awareness of government policies and rallying support for the “re-election” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates.
Speaking at the flag-off meeting in Akure, the Convener of LBW, Engr. Daniel Oke commended the Minister of Interior and one of the foremost figures of the president’s cabinet, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for his commitment to grassroots development and youth empowerment.
Engr. Oke charged members to intensify engagement at the ward and unit levels, stressing that the achievements of the Renewed Hope Administration must be taken directly to the people as the campaign season begins.
“With INEC’s schedule now in effect, our mandate is clear: sensitize the grassroots, promote the Renewed Hope agenda, and consolidate support for good governance through door-to-door campaigns,” he said.
Also speaking, the secretary of the group, Hon. Rotimi Ekundayo, and a staunch member of the APC, also urged LBW members and APC members within his unit and ward, to remain united and work for the success of the party in 2027.
LBW has directed its ward and unit coordinators to strengthen party structures, promote peace, and ensure continuous engagement with communities across Ondo State as campaigns get underway.
