The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Akure North State Constituency, Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade, has called on the people of Ondo State to rally behind the party ahead of the forthcoming elections, saying the APC has a strong record to present before the electorate.

Tomisin, a prominent APC leader and National Women Mobiliser of the party, made the call as she puts machinery in motion for what she described as the “mother of all campaigns and rallies” ahead of her election.
She urged APC members, women, youths and other supporters to unite and take the party’s message of continuity, development and good governance to the grassroots.
“This is the moment for every APC member to come together. We must take our message to the people and remind them why the APC remains the right platform for the development of Ondo State,” she said.
Tomisin particularly called on residents to embrace the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, saying his developmental projects across the state should encourage the people to support the APC.
She noted that the Governor’s road projects and other interventions are indications of an administration focused on delivering tangible development to the people.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa’s work is visible. The roads are speaking, the projects are speaking, and the people are watching. We should support the Governor and encourage him to do more,” Tomisin stated.
She appealed to the people not to allow political differences to overshadow the developmental needs of the state, stressing that continuity would help sustain ongoing projects and initiatives.
“We cannot afford to throw away what is working. Where there are areas that need improvement, we should demand more, but we must also recognise the good things happening in our state,” she said.
Speaking on her campaign, Tomisin said the APC is preparing for a massive grassroots mobilisation ahead of the election, promising that the forthcoming rally would demonstrate the strength and unity of the party.
“We are preparing for the mother of all campaigns. Our women are ready, our youths are ready and our grassroots structures are ready. We are going to meet the people face-to-face and ask for their support,” she declared.
The APC candidate also called on women across Ondo State to take an active role in the political process, describing them as a critical force in determining electoral outcomes.
She urged APC members to close ranks and work together, saying victory would be easier if the party remained united.
“Let us put the party first. Personal interests will come and go, but the APC must remain strong. When we work together, we will win together,” she added.
Tomisin expressed confidence in her chances in Akure North, describing her aspiration as a commitment to effective representation and service to the people.
She promised to run a campaign centred on the people and their aspirations.
“I am not coming to the people with empty promises. I am coming with a commitment to listen, represent and serve. Akure North deserves a strong voice, and i am ready to be that voice,” she said.
She therefore urged Ondo residents to support APC candidates across the state, stressing that the forthcoming elections should be viewed as an opportunity to consolidate development and strengthen the party.
“Let us rally together, support APC and continue the journey of development. The people are ready, and we are ready to serve,” Falade declared.
