2027: AIYEDATIWA RALLIES APC WAR HORSES, PLOTS BIG VICTORY FOR TINUBU IN ONDO

Governor tells elders: “APC is one”; vows to build bigger, stronger political family

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has rallied the elders and critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State as the party begins an early mobilisation drive ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Aiyedatiwa, who hosted APC elders on Monday, unveiled the broad direction of the party’s mobilisation, urging stakeholders to close ranks and work collectively towards securing victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates.

The governor told the gathering that the APC must approach the 2027 elections as a united political family, declaring emphatically: “APC is one.”

He cautioned against tendencies capable of creating unnecessary divisions within the party, stressing that unity remained essential to building a formidable electoral structure.

According to Aiyedatiwa, the party’s elders have a crucial role to play in providing political guidance, fostering reconciliation and strengthening the relationship between the leadership and grassroots members.

He charged them to deploy their experience and networks to deepen mobilisation across the state and ensure that APC structures remain active in all the local government areas.

The governor also rallied support for President Tinubu, urging party members to work with renewed determination towards delivering a strong mandate for the President and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

Aiyedatiwa stressed that the task ahead required early planning and sustained grassroots engagement, noting that political victory would depend largely on the strength, discipline and commitment of the party’s structures.

He assured the stakeholders that his administration would continue to provide leadership capable of strengthening the APC while advancing the development agenda of the state.
The governor expressed confidence that the APC would continue to expand its political base, declaring that the party would become bigger, stronger and more united.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the elders and other stakeholders to reaffirm their commitment to the party and discuss ways of strengthening its mobilisation machinery ahead of 2027.

As political activities begin to gather momentum nationwide, the Ondo APC is positioning itself for an early start, with the governor’s latest engagement signalling a renewed push for unity and grassroots mobilisation.
