Hon. Falade Rallies Akure Residents to Welcome Gov. Aiyedatiwa on a “Thank You Tour”

Ahead of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s official “Thank You Tour” to Akure North and South local governments, scheduled for tomorrow, a leading House of Representatives hopeful and grassroots mobilizer, Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade, has extended a heartfelt welcome to the Governor, describing him as a symbol of unity, stability, and development in Ondo State.

In a statement issued on Monday afternoon through her media aide, Hon. Tomisin commended the Governor for his unwavering commitment to good governance, particularly through his strategic appointments across critical sectors including health, education, infrastructure, and youth development.

She noted that since assuming office, Governor Aiyedatiwa has consistently demonstrated leadership driven governance, by inclusion, performance, and people centered policies.

“The Governor has proven to be a stabilizing force and a unifier in Ondo State, and we in Akure are proud to receive him,” she said.

Hon. Tomisin also highlighted the significance of the tour, describing it as a rare show of humility and accountability.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa is not just leading from the top, he’s coming to the people, to say thank you, to listen, and to reaffirm his commitment to progress.”

Calling on Akure residents to come out en masse, she urged all community leaders, market women, artisans, youth groups, and political stakeholders to give the Governor a rousing welcome worthy of his performance so far.

“This is our opportunity to show appreciation to a Governor who is working tirelessly for the betterment of our state. Let us line the streets and fill the venue to show him that Akure stands solidly behind him,” she added.

The visit is expected to witness large turnout from various segments of the society, as the Governor continues to appreciate and consolidate the support so far and ahead of our crucial political timelines.
