ONDO SOLIDARITY FORUM (AKOKO NORTH EAST CHAPTER) CALLS ON HON. JIMOH BAKARE TO RESCUE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

In a passionate and unanimous declaration, the Ondo Solidarity Forum (Akoko North East Chapter) has called on Hon. Jimoh Bakare to officially join the race for the House of Representatives seat in Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency, citing his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and youth empowerment.

The resolution was made at a well attended meeting held in Ikare Akoko, where members of the Forum, alongside respected community leaders, professionals, and stakeholders, gathered to reflect on the state of political representation in the constituency.

In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the Forum expressed deep disappointment over the non performance of the current representative*, lamenting the growing disconnection between elected officials and the people they are meant to serve.

They noted that despite the resources and opportunities available, the current occupant of the seat has failed to deliver meaningful projects or impactful legislation that would lift constituents out of economic and social hardship.

Speaking at the event, the chapter chairman, Comrade Ayo Oluranti stated, “Hon. Jimoh Bakare remains the most qualified, most connected, and most passionate among all current aspirants. He has demonstrated genuine love for the people of Akoko, not with noise, but with silent and consistent actions.”

Members praised Hon. Bakare for his silent humanitarian work, noting that he has over the years supported dozens of young people through job placement, business support, education sponsorship, and healthcare assistance without seeking public praise or political reward.

A youth leader at the event, Arigbede Bolaji remarked, “The man has taken many of our youths off the streets. While others are sharing promises, he is already delivering. This is the kind of leader we need, one who sees public service as duty, not opportunity.”

The Forum concluded by urging Hon. Bakare to heed the call of the people and declared their full support should he decide to run, stating that the time has come for true representation driven by competence, compassion, and community consciousness.

With growing calls across the constituency, many believe the 2027 election might mark a turning point in Akoko’s political landscape, and Hon. Jimoh Bakare may just be the catalyst.
