Tutors to Get Full Breakdown of Salary Deductions as ASUSS Pushes Payslip Reform

The Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS), Ondo State chapter, has assured tutors that the ongoing upgrade of the state’s payslip platform will soon provide a complete breakdown of salary deductions, ending concerns over missing payroll information.

The assurance came from the State Chairman of the union, Comrade Amuda Tairu Abiola, JP, through a statement issued by the State Public Relations Officer, Odeh K.

The union said the current limitation of the payslip platform, which does not fully display deduction details, has been brought to the attention of the relevant authorities and developers responsible for managing the system.

According to ASUSS, efforts are already underway to correct the deficiencies and ensure that members have access to detailed and comprehensive payslip information.

The statement revealed that the developers are committed to implementing the required adjustments within a short period, giving hope that the longstanding issue will soon be resolved.

ASUSS expressed optimism that by the payment of June salaries, the platform would have been fully updated to reflect all deductions and other relevant payroll information.

The development is expected to be welcomed by tutors across the state, many of whom have repeatedly called for greater transparency and accountability in the presentation of salary records.

Reaffirming its commitment to the welfare of members, the union urged tutors to remain patient as work continues on the platform, assuring them that their concerns are being treated with the seriousness they deserve.

With the June salary window approaching, expectations are high that the promised improvements will usher in a new era of transparency in the management and presentation of tutors’ salary information.
