A prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Director-General of the Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade Campaign Organisation, Hon. Adebanjo Adesida, has described the emergence of Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade as the party’s candidate for the Akure North State Constituency as a victory for competence, capacity and purposeful leadership.
Adesida made the declaration shortly after Hon. Tomisin collected her Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form at the APC State Secretariat in Akure, where the atmosphere was filled with excitement and solidarity from party members and supporters.
The APC chieftain, who has been a close political associate of the candidate and has managed her campaign organisation from the beginning, said he was delighted by the affirmation of Tomisin’s candidacy, describing it as a positive step towards ensuring effective representation for the people of Akure North.
According to him, his support for Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade is anchored on her passion for grassroots development, her commitment to service and her ability to connect with the people at the community level.
He stressed that constituency boundaries would not limit his support for a candidate he believes has the capacity to make a difference in the lives of the people.
“Good leadership knows no boundary. My support for Tomisin is total because I have seen her passion, dedication and commitment to grassroots development.
She has the qualities needed to represent the people effectively,” Adesida stated.
He also described Tomisin as a political asset not only to Akure North but to Ondo State, noting that her vision and dedication would contribute immensely to the growth and progress of the state.
He appealed to the people of Akure North to give the APC candidate their maximum support when the election holds, urging them to come out in large numbers and vote for a leader with the right experience and passion for service.
“Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade deserves the support of every well-meaning citizen of Akure North. She has shown commitment to the people, and I believe she will justify the confidence placed in her,” he added.
Adesida also applauded Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his leadership and for supporting competence, describing his decision as a demonstration of the governor’s commitment to quality governance and development.
He expressed confidence that the APC candidate would emerge victorious with the support of the people and provide a strong voice for Akure North at the Ondo State House of Assembly.
The endorsement from Hon. Adebanjo Adesida, a respected APC figure and the campaign’s Director-General from inception, is expected to further strengthen the political momentum surrounding Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade’s candidacy ahead of next election.
