SEGUN LUWOYE AND SIBLINGS GIVE MOTHER, LATE MRS. MATILDA ATINUKE LUWOYE, A ROYAL SEND-OFF

It was tears, tributes, and thanksgiving as Mr. Segun Luwoye and his siblings laid their mother, Late Mrs. Matilda Atinuke Luwoye to rest in a grand ceremony that brought together family, friends, dignitaries, and well wishers from across Nigeria.

Mama Matilda Atinuke Luwoye, a woman of deep faith, uncommon kindness, and legendary hospitality, passed on peacefully. But in death, her children ensured her legacy was celebrated with the honor she deserved.

From the Service of Songs held at her residence, to the Funeral Service at GOFAMINT Church in Isikan, Akure and the grand reception at FMT Akure, the Luwoye family spared no expense. The event was marked by a massive turnout of associates, traditional rulers, political leaders, church leaders, and community members who came to pay their last respects.

Segun Luwoye and his siblings, describing their mother as “the backbone of the family, they said their mother was their first teacher and a prayer warrior.”

The grand reception played out to be a fun filled outing with music supplied by versatile musician, Toyosi and the Gang, food, and fellowship of great people, with reflections about Mama’s love and great times.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Segun Luwoye said:
“Mummy lived a life of service. She raised us with discipline and love. Today we bury her body, but her values, her prayers, and her name will live forever in us. This grand sendoff is our little way of saying thank you, Mummy. Sleep well, our Queen.”

Late Mrs. Matilda Atinuke Luwoye will be remembered as a builder of lovely children, a peacemaker in the community, and a woman whose door was never shut to anyone in need. Her children have vowed to uphold the virtues she lived by: faith, hard work, and love for others.

The Luwoye family expressed deep appreciation to everyone who supported them in prayers, presence, and gifts during this period.
