“POWER IS TEMPORARY, PEACE IS PERMANENT” — HON. LADE FASUA URGES CALM AHEAD OF ONDO APC PRIMARIES

A former House of Assembly aspirant and prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Hon. Lade Fasua, has appealed to party faithful and political supporters across the state to maintain peace and order ahead of the forthcoming primary elections.

Lade Fasua, while addressing party members, emphasized the need for unity, tolerance, and maturity among aspirants and their supporters, warning against acts capable of heating up the political atmosphere.

According to him, political positions are temporary, and no ambition should be pursued at the expense of the peace and stability of the state.

“Nigeria and Ondo State belong to all of us. We must understand that leadership is by time and season.
Everybody’s time will surely come,” he stated.

The APC stalwart urged members of the party to accept the outcome of the primaries in good faith and continue to work together for the growth and success of the party.

He also called on youths across the state not to allow themselves to be used as instruments of violence by desperate politicians, stressing that democracy thrives best in an atmosphere of peace and mutual respect.

Lade Fasua expressed confidence in the leadership of the APC to conduct a free, fair, and transparent primary election that would further strengthen the party ahead of future political contests in Ondo State.

He reaffirmed his commitment to the unity and progress of the party, urging all stakeholders to place the interest of the state and the party above personal ambition.
