The Lion of Bourdillon Waves, LBW, has taken its grassroots mobilization to Akure, Ondo State, in a strategic engagement with youths under the BTO Youth Structure, coordinated by Alhaji Adekunle Saliu.
The visit, led by LBW National Convener, Engr. Daniel Oke, was aimed at deepening support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Also on the delegation were National Secretary, Hon. Rotimi Ekundayo, the National PRO, Mr. Emmanuel Oriowo, Dr. Oluranti Oke and other key members of the sociopolitical group.
In a symbolic gesture, Engr. Oke formally presented Alhaji Saliu with an official LBW branded cap, marking his induction as a key mobilizer for the movement in Ondo State and for the APC.
Addressing the gathering, Engr. Oke said LBW remains committed to amplifying PBAT’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the APC’s mandate at the grassroots, especially among young and vibrant people of like minds, who are critical to the party’s future.
“PBAT’s policies are already impacting real lives, from social interventions for market women and artisans, to youth-focused empowerment, massive infrastructural development and notable reforms under the APC. Our duty in LBW is to take that message from Bourdillon to every street in Akure and beyond,” Oke stated.
Alhaji Adekunle Saliu, after receiving the cap, pledged the structure’s full support for President Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and LBW, noting that the youths are ready to mobilize people from door-to-door, for the party’s continued victory.
Also speaking, Hon. Rotimi Ekundayo commended the enthusiasm of Akure youths and urged them to remain united, active, and vocal in defending the gains of the current APC administration.
The closed doors meeting ended with a group photograph and a renewed commitment from the youths to champion PBAT’s vision, identify with Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo BTO’s support across Ondo State and Nigeria at large, and strengthen the APC base.
LBW says the tour will continue across other LGAs in Ondo State in the coming weeks.
