HON. FASUA FULFILLS PROMISE AS QUINTUPLETS ARE DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL

A few months ago, after a distress call about the birth of quintuplets in Akure and their mother’s tragic death during childbirth, the Executive Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. Dr. Gbenga Timothy Fasua, visited the hospital to offer sympathy and assess the newborns’ condition.

During that visit, Hon. Fasua Gbenga- Donald promised immediate support for the babies’ care, including food, supplies, and other essentials, assuring the family they would not face their grief alone.

Following through, the Chairman returned shortly thereafter with relief materials, reaffirming his dedication to the welfare and survival of the quintuplets.

After months of medical attention and support, the quintuplets were discharged with joy and gratitude shared among medical staff, government officials, and the family.

The hospital management expressed sincere thanks to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and Hon. Dr. Gbenga Timothy Fasua for their compassion and quick action, which were crucial in saving the newborns.

Dr. Ajiji, the Permanent Secretary representing the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Banji Ajaka, also thanked the governor and applauded hospital staff and Hon. Fasua for their collaborative efforts, calling it a model of humane leadership.

The family of the quintuplets deeply appreciated Hon. Fasua for his support during their difficult time, describing his help as a beacon of hope after their tragic loss.

In his speech, Hon. Dr. Fasua thanked God for sparing the children’s lives and praised Governor Lucky for his supportive role. He also commended the hospital management, led by Chief Medical Director Prof. Olagbuji, for their professionalism and dedication. Fasua expressed his sympathy over the loss of the mother and congratulated the family on their babies’ discharge, promising ongoing support as they grow.
