FINALLY, APC ACHIEVES 100% UPLOAD OF 2027 CANDIDATES ON INEC PORTAL, SHIFTS FOCUS TO MOBILIZATION AND VICTORY – YILWATDA

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the successful and 100% upload of all its candidates for the 2027 general elections on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Candidate Nomination Portal, ICNP.

In a post released late Saturday via his verified X handle, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, APC National Chairman, congratulated all candidates, leaders, and members of the party on the milestone.

“I congratulate our candidates, leaders, and members of APC on the successful 100% upload of our Presidential, Vice Presidential, Senate, and House of Representatives candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP).
With this milestone achieved, our focus now shifts to mobilization and preparations for a successful campaign and decisive victory at the polls,” Professor Yilwatda said.

The upload comes about 7 weeks after the party concluded its internal primaries between May 15 and May 23, 2026.
According to the APC revised timetable, the primaries commenced with the House of Representatives on May 15, followed by the Senate on May 18, and culminated with the Presidential primary on May 23, 2026.

The party said the seamless upload demonstrates the APC’s readiness, internal cohesion, and commitment to complying with INEC guidelines ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Professor Yilwatda noted that with nominations now concluded and duly captured on the ICNP, the APC will intensify grassroots mobilization, strategic campaign planning, and stakeholder engagement to secure victory across all levels.

“This is a clear signal to Nigerians that the APC is organized, united, and ready to continue delivering good governance. We are moving from primaries to the people,” the National Chairman added.

The APC urged all members to remain focused and united as the party begins full campaign activities in the months ahead.
