EID-EL-FITR: AKINSUROJU URGES UNITY, HOPE, AS HE REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO GRASSROOTS DEVELOPMENT

Honourable Nelson Akinsuroju, Member representing Ileoluji/Okeigbo Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslim faithful as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his Sallah message, Honourable Akinsuroju described the season as one of deep reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal, noting that the lessons of Ramadan, patience, self discipline, compassion, and devotion, are critical to overcoming the present challenges facing Nigeria.

Addressing constituents directly, he urged the people to remain hopeful and united despite prevailing economic realities, emphasizing that collective resilience, peaceful coexistence, and community support remains vital to sustainable progress.

“This season calls us to strengthen our bonds as a people. Regardless of our religious or political differences, we must continue to promote peace, support one another, and work together for the development of our constituency and Ondo State at large,” he stated.

The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to delivering impactful representation, pledging to continue advocating for policies and initiatives that will improve infrastructure, empower youths and women, and enhance the overall welfare of the people at the grassroots.

He further called on residents to use the festive period to extend love to the less privileged, promote tolerance, and contribute positively to the peace and stability of their communities.

Honourable Akinsuroju prayed that Allah accepts the sacrifices of the faithful, grants Ondo State continued peace, and blesses every household with prosperity and renewed hope.
