The political journey of Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade towards representing Akure North State Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly has received a major boost as she officially collected her INEC nomination form on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Tomisin who is the APC candidate for Akure North State Constituency, arrived at the Ondo State APC Secretariat at exactly 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday to complete the formal process ahead of the next House of Assembly election.
Upon arrival, the house of assembly hopeful was warmly received by party members and supporters before proceeding straight to the office of the APC State Women Leader, Erelu Okin, who welcomed her with excitement and words of encouragement.
After the meeting with the women leader, Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade moved to the office of the APC State Organising Secretary, Mrs. Adefemi, who officially presented the nomination form to her, marking another significant milestone in her political journey.
The event attracted a number of APC leaders, stakeholders and supporters who came out to identify with the candidate and celebrate the development.
Among the prominent party leaders present were Hon. Dapo Filani Funmi, Deputy Chairman of Akure North Local Government Area, Hon. Adebanjo Adesida from Akure South, alongside other party chieftains and loyalists.
The atmosphere at the party secretariat was filled with excitement as supporters described Hon. Tomisin’s emergence as a reflection of the party’s confidence in her capacity, commitment and grassroots connection.
Speaking after receiving the form, Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade appreciated the leadership of the APC, party stakeholders and supporters for their continued trust and support. She reaffirmed her commitment to delivering effective representation and making the interest of the people of Akure North her top priority.
She pledged to focus on issues that directly affect the people, including youth empowerment, improved education, better infrastructure, women development and policies that will bring meaningful progress to the constituency.
With her nomination process completed, Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade is set to intensify preparations as the APC flag bearer for Akure North State Constituency, with expectations high among party faithful and residents ahead of the election.
