………promises people first politics, accountability, and sustainable development for Ondo South

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has positioned Omosuyi Olumide Abayomi as its candidate for the Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, unveiling a campaign anchored on the theme “Vision 2027.”
With the slogan “The Solution,” the ADC is presenting Omosuyi’s candidacy as a response to growing demands for accessible, transparent, and development driven representation in Ondo South. The campaign’s rallying call, “Vision 2027: Vote,” frames the upcoming elections as an opportunity to reset the political narrative of the constituency.
Speaking at the formal unveiling of his campaign materials, Omosuyi said his aspiration is rooted in a commitment to bridge the gap between government and the people.
“Okitipupa and Irele have endured years of representation that feels distant from the realities on the ground,” he said. “My mission is to bring governance closer to the people listening first, acting decisively, and being accountable at every step.”
Focus on Tangible Development
Omosuyi’s platform outlines priorities that align with the daily concerns of constituents: improving rural road networks to aid farmers and traders, expanding access to quality education and vocational training, strengthening healthcare delivery at the primary level, and creating pathways for youth employment through skills acquisition and small business support.
He emphasized that representation at the federal level must translate into visible projects and opportunities, not just legislative presence in Abuja.
“The House of Representatives should be a channel for resources, policy influence, and oversight that directly benefits our communities,” Omosuyi noted. “That is the standard I intend to uphold.”
A Call for Inclusive Politics
The ADC candidate also stressed the need for politics that transcends party lines and centers on the common good. He called on traditional rulers, youth groups, women’s associations, and civil society in Okitipupa and Irele to engage in shaping the agenda for the constituency.
“Leadership is not about a single voice. It is about amplifying the voices of the people,” he said. “Vision 2027 is not my vision alone. It is a shared vision for a constituency that works for everyone.”
Party officials within the ADC in Ondo State described Omosuyi as a candidate with strong grassroots ties and a clear understanding of the constituency’s challenges. They expressed confidence that his campaign would resonate with voters seeking alternatives to the status quo.
As political consultations intensify ahead of the 2027 elections, Omosuyi Olumide Abayomi’s entry adds a distinct voice to the race for Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency One that frames the ballot as a choice between continuity and a deliberate shift toward people centered governance.
