According to the agency’s latest Lassa Fever Situation Report, Nigeria has recorded 963 confirmed cases so far this year.

The report shows a rise in new infections from 14 cases in Week 27 to 25 cases in Week 28, indicating continued transmission across affected states.

The NCDC stated that the latest confirmed cases were recorded in Ondo, Bauchi, Edo, Kogi and Cross River States.
