The Ondo State Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS), Hon. Amuda Tairu Abiola, has congratulated Chief Segun Odusanya on his appointment as the Head of Service of Ondo State by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Describing the appointment as well-deserved, Amuda said Chief Odusanya’s emergence reflects his years of dedicated service, exemplary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the state’s civil service.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the ASUSS chairman noted that the new Head of Service is a seasoned administrator who has contributed immensely to the growth, stability, and efficiency of the public service through various capacities in which he has served.
According to him, Odusanya’s vast experience and deep understanding of the workings of government institutions place him in a strategic position to provide effective leadership for the state’s workforce.
“Chief Segun Odusanya has earned the respect of his colleagues and stakeholders through his professionalism, competence, and dedication to duty. His appointment is a clear testament to his outstanding record of service and capacity to lead,” Amuda stated.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for entrusting the administration of the state’s civil service to a capable and experienced hand, adding that the appointment would further strengthen public sector performance in Ondo State.
The union leader also offered prayers for the success of the new Head of Service, asking God to grant him wisdom, strength, and good health to effectively discharge the responsibilities of his office.
Amuda further appealed to civil servants across the state to cooperate with Odusanya and support initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and promoting excellence in the public service.
He stressed that the collective efforts of workers and the leadership of the Head of Service would be instrumental in achieving the developmental goals of the state government.
The ASUSS chairman expressed confidence that Chief Odusanya’s tenure would be marked by innovation, professionalism, and policies that would positively impact workers and the people of Ondo State.
