Renowned legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Bashorun Ifedayo Adedipe, SAN, has felicitated Nigerian children on the occasion of this year’s Children’s Day celebration, describing them as “the nation’s most valuable asset and the architects of tomorrow.”

In a statement released today, Bashorun Adedipe SAN, emphasized that the future of Nigeria rests on how well children are nurtured, educated, protected, and inspired today. He called on parents, guardians, educators, and policymakers to recommit to creating an environment where every child can thrive free from fear, neglect, and deprivation.
“Children embody hope, innocence, and boundless potential. On this day, we must move beyond celebration to action, ensuring access to quality education, healthcare, safety, and moral guidance. A society that invests in its children invests in its own continuity and greatness,” he said.
The SAN also urged children across the country to embrace discipline, curiosity, and respect for others, reminding them that great leaders and changemakers start with strong character formed in childhood. He prayed for their well-being, wisdom, and protection as they grow into responsible citizens.
“May this Children’s Day remind us all of our collective duty to safeguard the dreams of our young ones. To every Nigerian child: you are seen, you are valued, and your future matters,” Bashorun Adedipe added.
He wished children across Ondo State and Nigeria a joyful, memorable celebration.
