Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has accused a recently employed staff member of making unauthorised transfers amounting to ₦3 million from her bank account.

Martins made the allegation in a video shared on social media on Tuesday, where she explained that the suspect, a 20-year-old man, was hired about two weeks ago as her videographer and business sales manager.
According to the actress, ₦2 million was allegedly transferred from her Zenith Bank account on December 22, 2025, followed by another ₦1 million shortly after.
She said she initially believed the first transaction was a banking error and did not immediately suspect the staff member. Martins explained that the transfer occurred during a high-profile event she attended earlier in the month, which delayed her ability to investigate the incident promptly.
In the viral video, the actress appeared visibly emotional as people around her attempted to calm her down. She later apologised publicly to Zenith Bank for initially doubting the institution, praising the bank for what she described as its swift response and detection of irregular activities on her account.

Martins added that the incident has made her more cautious about employing people in the future, especially as she continues to run her businesses and engage in charitable activities.
