Hon. Dare Aliu has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the good people of Akure for the rousing and peaceful reception given to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, during his thank-you tour to the state capital on Tuesday.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Hon. Aliu described the turnout as a reflection of the people’s trust in the Governor’s leadership and a strong show of unity and support for his developmental strides across the state.
He commended Akure residents for conducting themselves with decorum during the Governor’s visit, saying the massive welcome further affirms Akure’s role as a politically conscious and progressive city.
Hon. Dare Aliu also used the opportunity to felicitate with Christians across the state and the country as they celebrate Christmas, urging them to imbibe the true spirit of Jesus Christ — love, peace, humility, and sacrifice.
“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us reflect on the values He stood for. Let us show kindness to one another, help the needy, and pray for a more prosperous Nigeria,” he said.
He concluded his message with prayers for the continued success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, calling on citizens to support the current administration’s efforts to build a stronger and more united nation.
