Three Siblings Killed In Ondo; Police Arrest Suspect

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the death of three siblings in a tragic incident that occurred on April 7, 2026, in Okitipupa, Ondo State.

According to the Command, the incident was reported by a resident, Mr. Agbeye of New Site, Doctors Road, Okitipupa, who alleged that his 28-year-old son, Femi Agbeye, attacked his siblings during his absence, leading to their deaths.

The victims were identified as Bose Agbeye (20), Dupe Agbeye (7), and Blessing Agbeye (5), all members of the same family.
Police operatives were said to have swiftly responded to the report, arriving at the scene where the victims were found lifeless.

Their remains have since been evacuated and deposited at the State Specialist Hospital morgue in Okitipupa for preservation and autopsy.

The Command further disclosed that the suspect was apprehended on the same day in a coordinated operation and will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.

The Commissioner of Police in the state condemned the incident, describing it as a heinous act, and assured that justice would be pursued.

Residents have been urged to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies by providing any useful information that may assist ongoing investigations.

The Police Command reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and property, warning against all forms of violence in society.
