A former presidential candidate and media entrepreneur, Dele Momodu, has launched a scathing critique of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, raising concerns over his conduct and suitability for public responsibility.

In a strongly worded post shared via his verified X handle, Momodu reflected on his long-standing awareness of the Fani-Kayode family, recalling his familiarity with the late legal luminary, Chief Remilekun Fani-Kayode, father of the outspoken politician.
He described Fani-Kayode as a man privileged with elite education and opportunities but alleged that such advantages have not translated into commensurate public comportment. According to Momodu, despite attending prestigious institutions, including the University of Cambridge, the former minister has remained persistently combative in both political and personal engagements.
Momodu further expressed disappointment over what he characterised as a pattern of confrontational behaviour, noting that repeated interventions by associates over the years have yielded little change.
The Ovation Magazine publisher also alluded to ongoing speculations regarding a possible diplomatic appointment for Fani-Kayode under the administration of Bola Tinubu, warning that such a move could attract scrutiny given the former minister’s public record.
He suggested that the prospect of public office should be matched with restraint, discipline, and a commitment to national image, particularly in roles that represent Nigeria on the global stage.
Momodu concluded by urging a shift in attitude, emphasizing the need for reflection and personal reform, especially at a time when the country requires leaders who embody decorum and responsibility in public life.
