The state congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state is now in progress at the Dome international event centre in Akure, with 36 new officers emerged through a consensus.
Hon Kolawole Babatunde (aka Ameachi), a former Akoko Southwest/Southeast House of Reps member, emerged the State Party’s Chairman while a seasoned journalist, Alex Kalejaye from Ilaje is now the new State Secretary.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is among APC leaders attending the Congress.
