Fuji music icon, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, has called on his fans worldwide to desist from using his name and brand to attack or “drag” fellow artists online.

In a Facebook post, the ‘Oganla’ crooner appealed for maturity and respect within the music community.
“Please do not use my name or my brand to drag or disrespect any artist. Music is about choice. Love who you love. Support who you support,” Pasuma said in a 2mins 22sec video.
The veteran singer emphasized that loyalty should not translate to dragging others, urging fans to uphold the values and ethics associated with the Fuji brand.
“Be loyal, be mature, and let us uphold the values and ethics that we stand for, Let’s continue to make Fuji and good music proud,” he added.
Pasuma also encouraged fans to identify freely with any artist of their choice without resorting to insults or online wars.
“Everyone has their choice of music. Everyone has their fans. Let’s stay loyal, let’s stay mature, and let’s stay true to the ethics of our culture. Music unites us. Let’s keep it that way,” he concluded.
The statement comes at a time when fan wars between music camps have become common on social media. Pasuma’s message has since drawn positive reactions from fans and industry stakeholders who praised him for promoting peace and professionalism.
