The House of Assembly candidate in Akure North Constituency, Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade, has joined well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating the successful release of the kidnapped students and teachers in Oyo State, describing the development as a significant victory in the nation’s continued battle against insecurity.

Hon. Tomisin in her reaction to the development, applauded the coordinated efforts of the security agencies and the commitment of the Federal Government towards ensuring the safe rescue of the victims.
She commended the bravery, dedication, and professionalism of the security personnel who played key roles in the operation, noting that their sacrifices demonstrate the importance of a strong and responsive security system.
The Akure North Constituency House of Assembly candidate stated that the safe return of the students and teachers brings relief to their families and communities, while calling for sustained efforts to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
She urged the Federal and State Governments to ensure that the rescued victims receive immediate attention through proper rehabilitation programmes, medical support, and psychological care to help them overcome the painful experience.
According to her, beyond the joy of their release, there is a need to provide the necessary support that will enable the victims return to normal life and continue their educational and personal pursuits without fear.
Hon. Falade also appealed to Nigerians to embrace security consciousness, stressing that the protection of lives and properties remains a shared responsibility.
She encouraged citizens to maintain vigilance, cooperate with security agencies, and report suspicious activities within their communities, noting that effective security can only be achieved when government, security operatives, and citizens work together.
