LION OF BOURDILLON WAVES LBW URGES CONTINUITY FOR PBAT, CITES BOLD REFORMS, ECONOMIC RESET, AND BTO’S “RENEWED HOPE IN ACTION” AT INTERIOR

The Lion of Bourdillon Waves LBW, a sociopolitical support group committed to national renewal and continuity of purposeful leadership, has called on Nigerians, party faithful, and members of the public to drum up support for the continuity of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, citing what it described as “giant strides that are already reshaping Nigeria’s economy, security architecture, and governance culture”.

In a statement signed by the LBW National Coordinator Engr. Daniel Oke, the group said PBAT’s “Lion of Bourdillon” resolve and policy courage since 2023 have restored investor confidence, deepened fiscal discipline, and positioned Nigeria for sustainable growth despite global headwinds.

“President Tinubu’s reforms, from fuel subsidy removal to exchange rate unification, tax reforms, and massive infrastructure rollout, are tough, but necessary medicine for a nation long dependent on quick fixes. The results are showing: increased federation revenue, renewed foreign direct investment interest, and a government that takes decisions without fear,” LBW stated.

The group particularly highlighted the performance of the Hon. Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, popularly known as BTO, as a shining example of the “Renewed Hope Agenda in action”. LBW applauded BTO for digitizing passport issuance, reducing processing time, clearing decades of old backlogs, automating correction of data, and bringing transparency to the Nigeria Immigration Service and Correctional Service.

“BTO is the face of PBAT’s promise, which points to competence, technology, and zero excuses. From the launch of contactless passport renewal for Nigerians in the diaspora, to modernizing correctional centers and improving internal security coordination, he has proven that public service can work when driven by vision,” the group added.

LBW Coordinator, therefore appealed to its members in the country and in diaspora, and to all Nigerians, to mobilize grassroots support, engage communities, and defend the achievements of this administration. The group emphasized that “continuity is not about personality, it is about protecting reforms mid-stream so that Nigeria does not slide back into the cycle of abandonment”.

“PBAT started what cannot be finished in four years. For the good of our children and the integrity of our democracy, continuity is the only patriotic choice.

We stand with Asiwaju, We stand with Renewed Hope, We stand with Nigeria,” LBW declared.

The group urged traditional rulers, youth groups, market women, and civil society to key into the advocacy and ensure Nigerians understand the long term gains of PBAT’s bold policies, with BTO’s ministry serving as proof that results are possible when leadership is focused.
