The Lions of Bourdillon Waves LBW, has called on Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next general election, saying the administration has laid a solid foundation for national growth through strategic appointments and people oriented reforms.
The group, led by its National Convener, Engr. Daniel Oke, made the call through its National Secretary, Hon. Rotimi Ekundayo, who addressed journalists on the achievements of the Tinubu administration and the contributions of key public office holders from Ondo State.
According to Ekundayo, President Tinubu has demonstrated exceptional leadership by appointing competent technocrats who have brought innovation and efficiency to governance.
The group specifically praised three Ondo State born ministers serving in the Federal Executive Council, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior; Prof. Taiwo Oyedele, Minister of Finance; and Hon. Ayodele Olawande, Minister of Youth Development.
It described the trio as dedicated public servants whose performances have continued to attract national attention and public commendation.
The group also paid glowing tribute to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whom it described as a unifying force and a leader committed to peace and inclusiveness.
The group said Aiyedatiwa has distinguished himself through a leadership style that embraces all shades of political opinion, earning him widespread respect across the state’s political spectrum.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has remained a father figure in Ondo politics. His ability to accommodate divergent interests and promote peaceful coexistence has contributed immensely to political stability and progress in the state,” Ekundayo stated.
While commending all the Ondo State born federal appointees, the group singled out Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for special recognition, describing him as one of the most outstanding ministers in the current administration.
According to the group, Tunji-Ojo’s reforms in the Ministry of Interior have significantly improved service delivery and enhanced Nigeria’s reputation on the global stage.
It noted that the cumbersome process associated with obtaining international passports has become easier and more efficient under the minister’s watch, bringing relief to millions of Nigerians.
“One of the most remarkable achievements of Hon. Tunji-Ojo is the transformation of passport administration in Nigeria. What used to be a major challenge for citizens has now become more seamless and accessible. His efforts have projected a positive image of Nigeria before the international community,” the group added.
The organization further applauded the minister’s ongoing reforms in the immigration sector, noting that they have improved operational efficiency, strengthened public confidence, and opened up opportunities for employment and economic participation.
It also commended Prof. Taiwo Oyedele for his contributions to fiscal and economic reforms, while praising Hon. Ayodele Olawande for implementing programmes aimed at youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and skills acquisition.
The Lions of Bourdillon Waves therefore urged Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s vision for the country by voting for him and all APC candidates in future elections.
The group maintained that continuity in governance would allow ongoing reforms to yield greater benefits for citizens and accelerate the nation’s march toward economic prosperity, political stability, and sustainable development.
