The Nigerian Government has for many years informed us that it knows the details of those funding terrorism and banditry in the country, and yet it has not for once done what a Government is established to do; which is to bring the evil people to justice.
Successive Governments have accepted a simple fact that the heads of these terrorists organizations, are too big for anyone to touch.
While citizens are distracted by the Gumi’s et al, the real truth is that individuals like him are just spokespersons for a “bigger fish” (or fishes) that have been in power since the 1960’s. If anyone thinks that those ragged idiots roaming the forests and kidnapping our people are the terrorists, then you may need to re-examine your focus and ask yourself questions.
If a country like Nigeria cannot identify where the threat is coming from, then it doesn’t deserve to exist. I however know that the Nigerian Government knows who is funding and instigating these actions, but wouldn’t dare to touch them. The question to ask is why?
We are at the mercy of a political plot that cannot be resolved without two ourcomes; (1) Another Civil War and (2) A disintegration of Nigeria along the lines of common interests.
Unfortunately for us, we have a President in power who is a hypocrite. You can’t dine with the devil and expect to come out without stains. The compromises of a generation of elders, who sold their souls to the pursuit of vanities and not the achievements of governance objectives, is why we have a Government in place but no evidence of governance.
Nigeria is dying and assured of death, as long as it continues this way. It is either we sit to discuss the terms of disintegration or we fight until the last man standing gets tired of being corrupt and irresponsible to the land and to the GOD who owns it.
The Presidency and the Terrorists’ Leaders are simply playing a game of who blinks first, while the ordinary citizens become dust in the field of terror.
The Government knows who is troubling us, but it also knows we can’t deal with this problem without War.
We are in deep troubles either ways.
