Controversial Nigerian relationship expert Blessing CEO has resurfaced on social media after weeks of silence, issuing a public apology and promising transparency following backlash over her alleged cancer diagnosis.

The influencer had earlier deactivated her Instagram account amid accusations that she fabricated a stage four breast cancer claim to solicit financial support from Nigerians.
Her return comes shortly after critic and activist VeryDarkMan announced a break from social media, after previously petitioning against her over alleged fraudulent fundraising.
In a video shared on her reactivated Instagram page, Blessing CEO apologised for the controversy surrounding her health disclosures, while maintaining that her illness is real.
She assured followers that she would now document her medical journey openly, including releasing scan results and biopsy reports.
“I never lied about my health issues… but this time, you will follow me through the process,” she said, urging the public to be patient as she provides more evidence.
Addressing concerns from donors, the influencer pledged to refund contributions received during the controversy.
She expressed gratitude to supporters but acknowledged that some Nigerians were uncomfortable with the situation and demanded accountability.
She also shared screenshots indicating that refunds had begun, including payments made to VeryDarkMan and others who requested reimbursement.
The backlash intensified after a makeup artist, Deborah Mbara, accused Blessing CEO of using and allegedly altering her personal medical report to support the cancer narrative.
According to Mbara, she had shared her documents in confidence, only to later see them circulating online.
The allegation fueled public outrage and renewed scrutiny of Blessing CEO’s past controversies, prompting widespread calls for refunds and proof of her medical condition.
With her return, Blessing CEO appears to be attempting to rebuild trust by offering transparency and financial accountability. However, public skepticism remains high as many await verifiable medical evidence to support her claims.
