The Ondo State chapter of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has celebrated its Global President, Otunba Dr. Bolaji Amusan (JP), following the successful conferment of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution.

In a statement issued by the state Governor of TAMPAN, Basorun Aderemi Kamala, the association described the academic achievement as a fitting recognition of Amusan’s longstanding commitment to peacebuilding, leadership, and unity within and beyond the creative industry.
Kamala noted that the milestone reflects qualities the Global President has consistently exhibited over the years, particularly his ability to mediate disputes, foster reconciliation, and promote harmony among members.
“This academic milestone is a clear affirmation of the qualities our Global President has demonstrated over time. His role in resolving conflicts and strengthening unity has been instrumental to the stability and growth of our association,” the statement read.
The associationnoted that even before earning the degree, Amusan had distinguished himself as a natural peacemaker, often serving as a bridge during periods of tension and offering guidance at critical moments.
According to TAMPAN, the academic recognition only reinforces what members have long acknowledged about his character and contributions.
“The academic world has only confirmed what we already know, he is a peacemaker by calling, by character, and by impact,” the statement added.
TAMPAN Ondo State also highlighted Amusan’s diverse accomplishments, describing him as a multifaceted leader who embodies tradition, service, and intellectual growth, while remaining approachable and dedicated to the welfare of members.
The association reaffirmed its loyalty and support for his leadership, expressing confidence in his continued role in steering the organization forward.
“The cap fits, the gown suits, but the crown of service fits him best,” the statement concluded.
