The Ifedore Solidarity Youth Forum has passionately called on the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to consider Hon. Adu Olufunso, popularly known as F S, for the position of Youth Leader in Ifedore Local Government, describing him as a tested, trusted, and dependable party man.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Chairman, Comrade Olugbenga Afe Ojo, said the endorsement was borne out of Hon. Adu’s long-standing commitment to the party and his exceptional grassroots credentials.
According to him, Hon. Adu Olufunso is widely respected across wards and communities in Ifedore for his ability to mobilize youths and bridge gaps between party leadership and the grassroots.
Comrade Afe Ojo noted that Hon. Adu is not only a formidable grassroots mobilizer but also a strong advocate for gender equity, a quality he said is rare and highly needed in contemporary political leadership.
He highlighted that through The NIRETI Foundation, Hon. Adu has sponsored numerous empowerment programmes aimed at uplifting youths and women, providing skills acquisition opportunities and economic support to many beneficiaries across the local government.
The forum further emphasized that Hon. Adu Olufunso has been with the APC since its formative years and has remained loyal, consistent, and active even during challenging times.
Over the years, he has served in several leadership capacities at the state level, gaining valuable experience in party organization, mobilization, and administration.
According to the group, Hon. Adu is now fully prepared to deploy his wealth of experience, energy, and inclusive leadership style to strengthen the party structure in Ifedore Local Government and further galvanize the youth base ahead of future political engagements.
The Ifedore Solidarity Youth Forum therefore urged party stakeholders to heed their call, expressing confidence that Hon. Adu Olufunso’s emergence as APC Youth Leader would usher in renewed unity, empowerment, and growth for the party at the grassroots.
